ANGOULÊME

So.
I'm leaving this night for Angoulême. The biggest comic fair in Europe.
It's 19 hours by bus, and that scares me.
But it's a sort of teenage dream coming true. Well, actually it's not that far, considering where I've travelled in my life, and I could have gone there earlier. But this is really meaningful for me.
Next stop: San Diego! :D

general stuff, comics

It was really awesome! :)
I didn't take pictures, well... I didn't even bring my camera! And it's so different from our comic fairs here in Italy, the French market is really a world within itself. Big publishers and classic authors, small independent publishing houses with incredible artists... But very few Japanese or American titles.
And the town is lovely! In the middle of the French countryside, with its old buildings.
I enjoyed every second of it.

So glad you had fun!

Aw, but that means you have pictures on the inside and that's okay! In fact that's probably better, because you can then share your take on them with the world... (and hopefully us here at KakaSaku too) ;)
