(no subject)
I still have to upload pictures. I should have had them posted already (especially ludo ones, and NFT I'm trying to finish uploading them maybe a seperate picture post tonight...) but I wasn't home yesterday.
...after lunch I was just talking about nothing, saying how I wished I had a car because I would have been in Dallas seeing Houston Calls. So my mom spur of the moment thinks 'fuck it let's go'. And so we did. Completely spontaneous which is the best, we drove 4 and a half hours (five if you count when yahoo maps became a douche and made us get lost in Dallas thank god for sidekicks and mapquest, as if dallas wasn't already the most confusing city driving wise in Texas) just to see my favorite boys. We got into town ate, stood in line, and then went in. I was avoiding Tom like whoa because I didn't want him to see that I was there until they were on stage. Denver Harbor was soso good, but Aaron kept staring at me from on stage whenever he'd talk... yea awkward. Successfully avoided Tom and he didn't look down and see me until their second song, suprised looks and smiles. This set I think was way better than the SA show, more energy, more weird dancing, plus there were tons of kids singing along, that makes my heart happy. More Texas kids need to appreciate them. Yea thats a rare thing in Texas, kids are lame here. Me, Maria, Jarrett, Tom and Okie all sang to each other like whoa. My mom sang along to Bob and Bonnie, that makes my heart happy. I realized I get embarassed easily, I don't like being the center of attention in big crowds at all. Especially yesterday when Tom was talking on stage about how Day At The Fair was on next and that everyone should stick around to watch them, he looked straight at me and is like "You're staying around right?" Haha I hesitated, thinking oh he's not talking to me and everyone is staring at me crowd included, so after a minute.. I just nodded "Good! I'm glad.. this song is called..." I think I may have blushed.
Went and bought Maria a houston calls shirt. Tom was there
Tom: "You know the last song we play? Exit, Emergency?"
Me: "Dude Of course I know that song."
Tom: "well yea.. but did you hear what I sang?"
Me: "I know you sang something different but I couldn't hear what you said."
Tom: "MAN! It was so funny you know the part where it says 'I'll place the blame on anyone I see' I changed it and said 'I'll placed the blame on a man named okie'. It went fit so good but no one heard."
He was really sad about that. Went and watched DATF, then went back because I felt like getting them to sign my cd cover. Tom signed it 'Tom Chitty (is a really cool dude) nah.' Was gonna talk to Josh but he was way into talking to two slutty girls. Ran in to Jarrett "Hey sing alongers!" had him sign it 'you sang! you rule!' Talked to Kenny. Talked to Okie. Got a picture with Tom, well two actually since the first one he started talking right before the picture took "Wait I can't make the same face as the other picture!" So I laughed and looked retarded and we took another one.
Oh man best part of the night "I put our picture up on my myspace. You saw it right? Yea so Jen left a comment on it and she's all like "OMG! THE STARTING LINE!" (said in a really high voice). "Is she like obsessed with them?"
Tom met my mom and I guess was scared of her, since he just waved and kept talking to me and Maria about her asking me if she likes them and if she enjoyed their set.
Watched Allister. Tim: "This song goes out to anyone drinking tonight. Budweiser!"
Tom: *runs into crowd* "Fuck Budweiser!"
My mom wanted to leave and I did too since we still had 4 and half hours to drive home and it was a pretty late show. So I told Tom bye, hugged, said the normal stuff good to see you's, thanks for coming's, see you next time's and then some random drunk guy runs up "How'd you get the name houston calls dude?!?" My cue to leave haha.
Drove home. Got here, crashed went to work in the morning.
