Jisun is LoveHolic's previous female singer before she left, releasing her own album.

Jisun's debut album is a really good one. I don't think it's one of those albums that hit you straight away, but slowly grows on you. After a couple of listens, you begin to appreciate each track more and more. I prefer the second half of the album more, but that's my opinion. I don't think that the songs are evenly distributed - most of the upbeat songs are at the beginning while the slower songs are towards the end. The instrumentals are mellow, beautiful and soothing, perfectly suited to Jisun's breathy but beautiful voice. Rating: 9.2/10

Someone Somewhere Someday is just the intro and is really pretty and soothing, with the background sounds of the waves and dolphins. The piano melody is quite nice as well. It's short though and before you know it, it launches into the next song.

The title song, The Mermaid... Comes Back Home is an upbeat, pop/rock song. It didn't really stick when I first heard it but it's grown on me since then. I mean, it's better than the autotune stuff that is getting released these days (not that I hate it but hmm...).

Hello Heart somehow sounds...spacey? Jisun's vocals breathy vocals compliment well with it. The song takes a turn, becoming more upbeat and retro-sounding. I like it. It's a little strange but it's different and catchy. I don't really like Jisun's vocals in the chorus though, she sounds like she's straining a bit.

I love Roller coaster Love. I mean what is there not to love? It's a fun, upbeat song with lightly distorted vocals in the chorus. The energy behind the song is infectious and it makes me want to sway about and dance. Lol.

Universe sounds airy and spacey (kinda like Hello Heart) and Jisun's vocals help set the atmosphere. It's very mellow and soothing but I don't think the chorus are strong enough to be memorable. It's a pleasant listen though.

Windflower (feat. Alex) is a beautiful, heartfelt ballad with amazing male and female dynamics. Alex (from Clazziquai Project) has a very smooth and beautiful voice which compliments Jisuns soft, breathy voice. Accompanied with the piano and soft percussions, the song slowly builds up to a progression with layering of instruments. Jisun and Alex portray the emotions behind the song beautifully and it is one of my favourites (if not my favourite!) from the album.

The next song He Doesn't Love You starts off a little strangely with the radio effect and all. But it soon establishes itself as a piano, rock/pop song. I love the build-up to the chorus, which is explosive and extremely catchy. The addition to the strings is also great. Jisun's vocals shine especially during the chorus.

I Miss You is a piano ballad that is full of emotion with the melancholy melody. But I'm a sucker for depressing/sad songs. Anyways, Jisun's vocals are extremely great and most of the time, only accompanied with the piano. The song is simple but beautiful. As the song  progresses, more instruments are added in the background, gradually building to a climax where Jisun brims with sincerity.

Earthling is another soft pop/rock song but you can never really get tired of these. Jisun's vocals sounded extra breathy and airy during the verses. I think this was one of the songs that slowing grew on me (I dunno, it's been a while) but the chorus is addictive. I just love how the verses are so mellow yet the chorus are so...explosive? Most of Jisun's songs are like that but I think that's why they're so damn catchy.

Phony War breaks the trend of less upbeat songs and I find the song to be interesting. I didn't like it at first when I listened to it but I find it alright now. I found the chorus a little grating but the arrangement of the song is quirky enough for that to slide. It's a little messy but edgy.

The next song, The Truth Of Our Shared Love has traces of electronica with the synth in the background. It offers something different from the album, but still keeps Jisun's sound (along with the catchy chorus that Jisun seems also have).

I enjoy the beginning of L O V E, with Jisun's vocals and the music box tinkering away. The song then establishes itself as a soft/pop rock song with the blaring guitars in the chorus. I love the addition of strings - sounds epic. A perculiar song but most of Jisun songs are like that. Anyways, I like the song.

Polaris is a haunting mid-tempo/ballad song and ends the album beautifully. It's soothing and you can really appreciate Jisun's vocals in the song, especially during the chorus. It's extremely gorgeous and a perfect way to end the album.
