My last night in New Orleans until August. *sigh* All my stuff is packed and ready to be loaded in the car in the morning. My room is clean (a shock, I know. It took forever!) and mostly empty. It feels weird to be sitting here at my bare desk ( Read more... )

Oh I've never been to a RenFest in a large city, is it huge? Also, have you been to the big aquarium yet?

I've never been to the RenFest here, so I couldn't tell you. I believe it's pretty big though.
I have been to the aquarium, though. It's AWESOME. If you're ever in Atlanta, you must go.

We went the year or maybe the year after it opened. It was pretty awesome, but uncomfortably crowded. (Audubon Aquarium is still my favorite :) We also saw the Bodies exhibit while there. And a really good Japanese resturant north of downtown. Thats about all we saw of Atlanta.

The Louisiana RenFest in Hammond is pretty fun. We try to go every year. It happens in the fall, starting with Octoberfest.
