Yes, I know. I hit new levels of HP geekiness reading and listening to CoS. I need serious help.

If you find some good help, let me know- I think I can use it, too. ^_^

I adored Harry from the get-go. He's my w00bie. I was keeping up with ACAD until about 3-4 days ago. I'm not quite finished with PS/SS and will have to wait for next week before I start COS. *headdesk* Oh well. I'll catch up eventually. RL is kicking me in the gut right now. It wlil be over soon, though. Like, tomorrow night *prays*

Yup Yup Yup to everything you wrote here. Harry is like another son in the house. We luv the lad, God bless 'im. And he really is a quick, sarcastic little guy, ain't he? I had forgotten that (and the films totally stripped that aspect of his character away. I really hope they play up Pissed!Harry in OotP to the max. Maybe Dan'll add it in.)

Mmmm...reading whilst on th bike. Sounds like a great idea.

*joins you in HP geekdom*

Yes! Crystalising my thoughts exactly. It's such an immersive world to disappear into. I remember see PoA for the first time. Late night at the local IMAX. Practically empty. When "Hedwig's theme" fired up, it was like this wave of... something wonderful? sweeping over the top of me. I like being IN that place. Good to know we're not alone with the books, music, tapes, etc. OK. We are weird. But weird together, yes?

Do you find that you're more into HP than your kids? I know I am, even though they're both excited that the next book is coming out. They get sidetracked into other stuff, but I'm the one who is obsessed with HP 24/7. How dysfunctional am I?

Oh I am MUCH more into HP than my kid is. She actually took the POA and COS posters down from her bedroom wall!!! *cries* I never tired of Harry's world, but currently she's like "Eh, I'm not into Harry Potter anymore." (at least for now) We'll see how soon she insists that I read HBP to her. I told her that I MUST read it first ("to myself") before I read it to her, because I simply CANNOT wait weeks to find out what happens.

I am such a huge HP fan, and my fiance couldn't understand why I was so excited about it. I finally talked him into listening to the series on CD in his car... and he loves it! (No where near how much I love it, mind you!) At least now he knows where I'm coming from when I talk about my love for it!

Nothing much more to add except hear! hear! I have successfully converted several former non-HP readers to my evil ways! *cackle* What they're always struck by is the depth of the story-- I don't think anyone expected that from the series-- but once you're hooked, there's no turning back. Love it!
