That's odd... I think the really long pillar or whatever ruins it. I liked the one we saw on the day it came out.

Ginny was on the CoS cover, too.

Well, yeah, with Ron holding her hand as Fawkes dragged all of them up from the Chamber of Secrets.

I hate having NO context for this cover. RAR.

It may be Lily. Remember, JKR said something waaaay back somewhere that we'd learn more about Lily in Book 6.

As for Ron & Hermione standing together--aren't they always standing somewhere together with Harry? And if Harry isn't around them, they have to be somewhere, like right next to each other.

BEsides, the book covers are extremely misleading. They take a very small snippet of the plot because it's the best thing to illustrate. OotP--cooridor with the doors is very cool to illustrate, but it was only one part of a very long book that had many significant Harry/Hermione moment.

Stay cool. :D

I totally understand why Ron and Hermione are standing together. They are his best friends. I thought it was in book 5 & 7 that we were going to learn more about lily.

I'm trying to remain cool. Really I am.

Psst...I bought Keane...not too crazy about it. I'm trying to let it grow on me.

Hehe about Keane. I saw them on SNL the other night (rerun) and thought "they're pretty good for a band with no guitars!" What can I say, I'm a sucker for great guitar players ;)

Yes, you are. I'll chalk it up to being hyper-excited about July 16. I am, too.

Keane--They're a band you love or hate. Guitar-lovin' fans aren't going to like them because they don't have a guitar. I'm more of a keyboard person, so I like it for that aspect. They strike me as more of a middle-of-the-road, adult contemporary band rather than an indie rock group.

My first thought when I saw it was "Ents are gonna have a field day." Still, it doesn't really prove anything. If Harry's with Dumbledore over the pensieve (if that's what it is), Ginny, Ron, and Hermione may well be in the room watching.

The town silhouette and the Dark Mark may be what's coming out of the pensieve. It could even be the night 15 years ago when Voldie showed up in Godric's Hollow. (If that's the case, the red-head may well be Lily.) Either way, if Dumbledore is showing something that's going to be traumatic, it makes sense for him to bring Harry's best friends in for moral support. We've been worrying about Harry distancing himself more during his grieving process; maybe this is Dumbledore's attempt at pulling him out of that.

Next time it's something shippy, do you think you could warn a girl?

;-)

I'm not convinced that the red-head is Ginny. *shrugs* And if Harry is with Dumbledore, then it makes sense Ron and Hermione would be alone together. I imagine that if Ron were with Dumbledore, we'd have Harry and Hermione alone together, and if Hermione were with Dumbledore, we'd have Harry and Ron alone together. That's the way the trio works. It wouldn't mean Harry and Ron are going to get together, as much as magicofisis would love to see that happen!

Sorry, Beth!

But, to make up for it, here is some art I found last night. You will love it! I love it!

Yum.

And, it is very possible that the person to the right is Lily. But, she sure looks young.

Oooh! That's one of the best I've seen of grown-up Ron. Yum indeed.
