Weekend Update

I got my hair cut and highlighted on Friday. It's all good. I think I can actually continue to style it the way it should be styled. Of course, I'm going for a basic bob, so where's the difficulty in that? Trust me, if there is the slightest chance I'll have funky, messed up hair, I'll have it. Mr. Charm said he liked it - multiple times! My friend ( Read more... )

I LOVE the COS videogame. It is the best one of the three (I have it on Playstation). It's so fun to run around the castle and find secret passages. I am so excited that you're playing my favorite videogame!

I understand how you feel about your haircut. I'm sure it's beautiful, I always get a little paranoid after a cut. I actually got my haircut and colored on Saturday. I'm not very happy with the color. I think I'm going to go back and fix it tomorrow. It's the last thing I need to think about, but I don't want everyone gawking at my hair when I present my paper next week.

I'll try to catch up on chapter a day when I get back. It sounds like fun! I love PoA, it was definitely my favorite book.

b) think, WTF am I doing? I'm not a writer

That's crazy talk! You're a wonderful writer. I'd love to hear more updates on your original story if you ever decide to filter and just talk about that.

My best friend lives in Lubbock. Goes to South Plains. He always tries to get me to go visit him, but I usually end up convincing him to come to where I live(Dallas) instead.

I actually might move there in a couple of months, but I haven't decided yet...

I haven't even read CoS at all for acad, I'm kinda disappointed in myself for not doing so, but I will try my hardest to keep up on the PoA. I like your snarky summaries though, a little bit of a TWoP feel. :)

Ugh. Wacko Waco is the most backward ass city in all of Texas. You may think that's an exaggeration, especially coming from someone who lives down the road in another slightly off the mark college town, but it's not.

Did you love Whataburger? That place rocks. I rarely eat there, but only b/c there isn't one close to us. I can say Waco is gross b/c I've been there multiple times and my mother's family reunion is there every May. Her family is from Mt. Calm, not to be confused with David Koresh's Mount whatever. Mt. Calm is about 20 miles NE of Waco. Anyway, enough about Waco.

You aren't missing much with the Burrow on the CoS video game. It consists of stunning and throwing trolls into a field, and some weird thing with a charmed washing machine. I hate the Whomping Willow. Diagon Alley was cool. I'm hoping we make it into the castle soon!

I'll consider myself a writer if I can complete an original novel. Not publish, b/c that is just a dream, but if I can finish it, then I might start calling myself a writer. Right now, finishing the novel is a dream as a matter of fact!

Did you get my offline IM messages? You look like Harry Potter!

I did get your messages. I replied in brief, though you were off-line. I've got a cable connection, so I'm on all the time. That's why it looked like I was logged in. Sorry.

No Burrow AND no Diagon Alley, either.

BTW, I think it was Mt. Carmel. An unusual name considering there was nothing even remotely resembling a mountain around there... until the FBI turned the compound into a smoldering pile of rubble.

The Whomping Willow on the PC was a snap. There are some things you're going to encounter that will make that look like a tiptoe through the tulips. Mwahahaha!
