As I was watching the Quidditch scene in SS with my kiddos just now I had the brilliant idea for a poll. JKR always has some sort of catastrophe befall Harry during Quidditch. What will she do to him in book 6?

Since I have yet to figure out how to view a poll I created without voting in it, I voted. For Malfoy. I think he's got to win eventually.

The only thing about number three to me is that I could never see Harry doing something like that to one of his friends that doesn't make sense. Ron's not a bad quidditch player, remember? He just had to grow into his role and get over his nerves.

Plus, I'd much rather have HB!Harry than QC!Harry, and I'd also rather see him realize he loves Hermione, especially like that.

t00by love ::giggle:: Had to vote for that just for the hysterical mental picture that evoked -- shot of Hermione's quite animated face like a beacon among swathes of crimson and gold knitwear. Cut to Harry's face, quick zoom in on an expression that just screams OMGWTFBBQ complete with cavernously gaping mouth and twitching eyebrow. All of a sudden the screen is empty and we hear a GOFesque shrill shrieking "HAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYY!"

...there is a hospital wing scene which follows, but that's basically a fade to black, eh? But for real? Malfoy's got to catch it sometime, regardless of how much as I would CAPSLOCK at my book.

I don't think Harry will (unfortunately) have that one dramatic moment of realization during Quidditch so not that. Can't see Harry ever becoming a worse player than Ron and can't see him ever being so disloyal to Ron as to sack him. (Gotta love that boy's loyalty.)
As for Malfoy catching the Snitch- I would hate to see that happen if only because of how long Malfoy would smirk about it- he wouldn't be nearly as nice as Cedric was. And besides, any triumph for Malfoy is guaranteed to be a BAD thing.

On a side note- I love your new layout!!!

I'd have to say that #1 is a shout out to cheesy fan fic.

Number 2 is in honor of all the Ron fan girls.

Number 3 is in honor of all the Ron haters.

Number 4 is something that I think needs to happen. The good guy doesn't always win.

Number 5 is another needs to happen thing. The only time he hasn't caught the Snitch was when he fell off his broom (two catastrophes at once!).

Number 6 is wishful thinking.

Thanks about the layout! It's a little girly for me, but it's in honor of P&P2. Once they get the bugs out of the 3 column style, I'm switching to that.

Lots of love for the layout, as well ^__^ And I couldn't help it- so many Darcys in a row just MUST be continued.

So it's not completely random... Malfoy is a good bet. And Harry's life needs to fall a little bit more apart before it can get better, and Quidditch is the best place for that to happen.

Thing is, not all Ron fangirls (coughmecough) voted for Number 2, and not all the ones who voted for number 3 hate Ron. (Though, I do often wonder the rational reasons behind why they are the way they are with him. He's no worse than Malfoy, after all.)
