Is much relieved. But I'd already checked and decided if you were dead it was on a rampage that took everyone in Shoebox with you, and that'd have made the papers.

Nice to see you. :)

Well, it was a logical conclusion, you know.

You, too :D

Okay that was very silly of me. Anyway. HELLO. Now seeing as I have been MIA for a long time, I'm not sure what your current state of dead-or-aliveness is, but the deal is: Katie is, essentially, incapable of doing Aloud stuff until at least Christmas vacation and knew you were the most fabulous candidate to ask to step in. Interested? Please ignore any previous statements I've made about this, cause uh, it was the numerous breakdowns talkin.

I would gladly help. Are there certain rules you would like me to follow regarding namings of files, etc, or can I just leapfrog straight in?

Also, how does one go about sticking together the different files using WavePad? Once I know this vital piece of info, I can carry straight on with SBP_Aloud.

You can name anything whatever you please - I only use specific file names and numbers so that I can put things together in order :)

To stick together files in Wavepad, you have to:
1) Create a New File. Just use the default settings when the little options box pops up; click OK.
2) Open the first file you need to put in.
3) Go to Edit -> Select All.
4) Edit -> Copy.
5) Go to the first file and Edit -> Paste. Simple!
5b) Lather, rinse, and repeat for all the following files. Just make sure each time that you're pasting onto the END of the file, and not accidentally in the middle.
6) If you need to make anything louder/quieter, highlight it (drag your mouse over the area) and select Effects -> Amplify. Select a percentage of - for lack of a better word - "loudness" in reference to the original volume level. Er, it's a lot simpler than it sounds :P
7) Any problems you can email me. You're so very spiffy for doing this. I'm going to forward you Remus' files now.
