I started my new book today. Really interesting so far. Difficult to read though because when a person speaks, there is no quotation marks or anything. Stream-of-consciousness writing or something

I read a book kind of recently where the dialogue was all in italics, not quotations. It made me want to kick the author, but I was glad I stuck with reading it anyway because it was a good story.

And tonight, I've been numb too. No real reason why, no big thing to dissect and pinpoint, I've just been kind of numb. I think it's just getting close to bed time.

I get that numb feeling all the time. People must think I have a staring problem when I'm not even seeing them. The someone comes along and snaps me out of it. Danny used to do it all the time. Now that he's gone I'll probably walk around dead for a long time.
