Here lie/lay/whatever the remains of our ONLY year of experience with an extracurricular club. Yes, Camp Fire Boys and Girls.

And I still hate selling candy! At least they won't let anyone sell it door-to-door anymore.

At least you found a club. When I contacted them they said there weren't any clubs with open slots in my area and then put the hard sell on me and 5 others who had asked to start our own club. I don't really want to be a group leader - I wanted to scope out the club, see if it was good and then join or not. If I'm going to be running it myself I'll just call some friends and ask if they want to start one. Want to start our own club? We can be the "Redoubtable Society" and do whatever we want.

Yeah, they did the same to me years ago. Our own club would be cool. "Redoubtable." Ooh, I like that. i just looked it up. Inspiring fear. Yeah. Sign me up!

As long as there is no paperwork.
