I just returned from my last night shift "day" at the Seattle lab and am feeling quite melancholy.

The bright side of this moment is that in a few hours I will be on a bus headed for Vancouver to go visit beenietron.

...I should probably get some sleep.

Earlier this year I set a goal for myself of 50 books in 2010. It's still attainable although at the moment I'm only 6 books in (working on 7 and 8). Two of the books were from the Oz series, which I developed an interest in reading after seeing "Dark Side of the Rainbow" (does anyone else remember the Scarecrow having a GUN? Today I took my second sick day in my 9 months of working at the lab (we're allotted 4). Last night I started coming down with a sore throat and this morning it exploded into a sore throat and flu-like muscle aches. This weekend I spent the second largest sum of money I have ever put towards clothes at a single time: $230. Why? Because the Boot Hunt is over. This was by far the best trip home in recent memory. I think alot of it had to do with the fact that it was also the first time I'd traveled back to Bolivia and stayed there for days at a time rather than drive back and forth to RDU.
