I do think queen is a great band...but you do realize that the song you chose, "Somebody to Love" is about a guy needing a gay lover...right? I mean...I guess the song is ok...but its just a little strange...Its not too clear, he only mentions the somebody being a man oce or twice...but if you know about Freddy Mercury its more clear. He died of AIDS and was openly homosexual.

I agree Queen is a great band, in fact it's my favorite. Why should it matter that freddie mercury was openly gay? Did that in ANY way take away from his amazing song-writing ability? is the song any less incredible and masterful, because it mentions his homosexuality in it? How is that strange? Obviously you live in different world, because on this one, 10 to 20 % ARE gay. Today, it is absolutely imperative to change traditional thinking about homosexuality, just due to the fact that so many people are gay, and they are just as intelligent/capable/whatever as EVERYONE ELSE. And so what if he dies of AIDS and was open with his sexuality? Should he have hidden it? I think that his disease and death makes him even more of a heroic figure, and historically, a very important person in terms of world-wide AIDS awareness. And JUST so you know, gay people aren't the only ones with AIDS. Whoever you are, you're a coward for not putting your name, and I hope someday you will manage to correct your backwards thinking.
