Since last entry I ran immediately to Starbucks and furiously wrote for the better part of an hour, and it was so therapeutic to get all that shit out of my brain, cause it turns out I had a lot to write about. Tim O'Brien is a great man. At some point I would like to write a war story, just to see how it turns out. As per your list, I feel obligated to point out that you say that tv is a lazy man's escape but then put "get better at online poker" as the next item on your list. Poker is a lazy man's "sport". Online poker is a lazy man's version of a lazy man's "sport". At least that's the way I see it. I don't play, so I don't really know. Politics and religion are always worth studying, as long as you don't bring them up at the dinner table. In closing, the unexamined life is not worth living. I got that from Socrates. He's good.

Although online poker is lazy physically, it is not lazy mentally. Therefore I don't see it being that lazy. It's like reading a book, in that it requires a much higher level of mental activity
