I'm sorry you lost (especially sine you totally deserved to win), but I'm happy that your participation gave you something special too.

Also, I am touched by your participation in that fundraiser. (Gratefulness is such a nice way of coming to terms with privilege. And there's so much love in the art gallery signs!) The x amount of dollars you raised wouldn't have been raised without you! Not to mention how wonderful it is that you're doing what you can to support your local community. :D Rock on! ♥

Aw, thanks for your support, Pan! :)

And thanks part 2! It was a great project, homelessness upsets me so I was glad I had the time to chip in. Yep, I was definitely happy with the amount I raised in such a short period of time. According to the site, we raised $175,000, a much nicer number than $174,980, dontchathink? ;)

Ow it sucks that you lost! *hugs*

It's great that participation was such a good experience for you, though! Good luck with all your new endeavors.

Sorry you didn't win. [Pats] And kudos on the whole giving-back thing... I'd like to do something like that.

Thanks for the support!

You can always give back with little things. Like smiling to the car driver that stops for you at the crosswalk or thanking the cashier at the grocery store. Any way you can make someone smile or make someone's day better is giving back. :)
