To add to the list of languages which I speak* very poorly**, I am now sort of taking French. It is SO silly! It like, makes NO sense half the time. Hilarious! The best thing about languages is, of course, their idioms. For example, according to my little dictionary, "pas très catholique" actually means "a bit dubious". LOL

you may wish to investigate quebecois curses. i understand they consist of strings of words connected to catholic worship ('sacrament de tabernac!'), with optional diminutives.

Last week in French class the teacher said that I sounded Quebecois. Maybe it was meant to be. Also I hear that Quebecois really pisses off French people, which pleases me.
