Before anyone asks:

Yes. I will be getting the new iphone.

Work has already declared support for it, and emails and stuff are flying about concerning supporting it.

It's for work. The fact that I obviously wanted one ANYWAY has nothing to do with it. It's just kinda a nice little extra.

haha, I'd definitely enjoy that feeling as well if I were you! ;) Knowing you're getting the best of the best for none of the cost is just... wow... congratulations! I expect a lengthy review on its good and bad sides once you have it.

I'll do that. Course, there will be differences between the European one and the US one - like they can't just use one carrier here. (They went with Cingular, mainly cuz they have the EDGE network. Which, well, hell, that's part of the network I built, so. Kinda neat. Kinda... glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.)

Free iPhone eh?! And a free Mac. Bloody hell you've got a good deal over there! I'm curious to the iPhones interface usability and how snappy it is once it's full of SMS's and contacts. Having owned both Motorolla and PPC mobile PDA's I've had some seriously bad times with phones "seizing up" once they get real-world cTrix treatment = actually trying to use the advertised features of the phone! So far I've been blown away with what I've seen on the Apple site - although I want to see video of the actual phone. The cheesy conversation-on-the-phone flash demo had me crawling under my desk in pain. All the same... Have fun with it!!

well it's not really a 'free' mac, I have had to do a rediculous amount of work. Including some work during Assembly. And. Stuff like that. I am happy with my job, it just needs a bit less ... crap. And now we have a bit less crap, wonderfucktard is gone. See previous journal for what that means.

And, yes. I plan to.

Btw, if you haven't seen, new nitrotracker out. oxtob (I forget how to spell his handle) added midi support. So you can control midi things with the stylus and all (:
