In any case, had a wonderful dinner with pastor n youth fellowship exco on friday. Revelation of the year: Life is simple.

We only think life is complicated cos we're always trying to break it down, refusing to accept that we can't have

i guess maybe we want too much from life. and wanting a lot means we try to do a lot (sometimes too much) to get it as well as get disappointed a lot.

and it doesn't mean that we don't aim high, try to change the world or be *ahem* claire soon *ahem*. it just means if you wanna aim high then don't expect to have time, be carefree and not have to deal with politics etc etc. if you want those things, then don't aim high. see, life is simple. hahas or that's what i think now anyway.

YAY you just put what i've been trying to tell people into nice pretty-sounding sentences and words! bravo. i wouldn't be able to do something like that even if i tried. :D

hahas it depends i guess. going by wad bruce lee said (who btw happens to have a degree in philosophy) i guess you only reap the benefits of a simple life when you can understand how it can be complicated, and then choose to see it simply. hahas whee isn't philosophy fun.
