Is it their fault we humans invaded their turf?

I was out with my dad and step-mom to the aquarium and I noticed something. We humans are so for saving other creatures we forget those in our own backyard. Seagulls for instance. I've noticed some people calling them names and pest, but if it weren't for us humans they probably wouldn't have become the way they are. They adapted to OUR society. So ( Read more... )

And people aren't bad for building cities and communities. It's what we do. If anything it goes to show that humans are a part of the ecosystem of the planet. If you get a chance, watch the program called "After Humans". It deals with how animals that depend on us would shrink their population radically if we were to suddenly disappear. The only "domesticated" animal that would continue to flourish is the housecat.

I'm not saying humans are bad, what I'm trying to say is some people do mistreat animals, and we need to remember that they weren't orginally created this way. They've adapted to the changes WE'VE made.

And that's my point. We operate inside the ecosystem. We are not separate from nature, but are part of it.
