My scary dream
I just had this really strange dream. In my dream I woke up and looked at the clock by my bed it read 11:20am. Oh, shit, I had class and a quiz at 9:15am. Then I ran into the kitchen and looked at the clock, it was 9:20, hmm maybe I still have a chance, then I turned around and saw a clock on the table and it said 10:20am. I love days like this. The weather was so great. Just after it rains the air is so crip and clear. The wind is a little cold, and the sun feels so nice. The clouds not blown out with the storm were sharp edged, like a picture in perfect focus. Days like this remind me of apples. The first bite of a really fresh apple. So satifying... -

So I started taking a Wicca class at the Crystal Cauldron. Joanna's taking it with me. I'm glad I'm finally getting to have a teacher, books somehow just don't compare to learning from a real person. You can't ask a book questions. :) -
Genetics
My genetics teacher is crazy. We took 7-8 pages of notes in 2 hours. The entire class didn't stop writing the entire time. You could hear the quiet groans and muffled ironic laughter everytime he put a new transparency up. I thought I was gonna go nuts. And to top it off, it was all new information. Coffee Night
So I went to the Crystal Cauldron again for coffee night tonight. It was nice. Nice to talk to people with a similar religious mindset as me. Nice to talk about spells and how to write and ethical spell and other stuff. Not always about religion. Nice to get to know more people. Too bad I have so many names to remember :) -
End of Quarter Camping and Grades
I had my last final last Thursday. It went just fine. Gina, Larry, Darrel and I celebrated with some Jim Beam, Malibu rum, and orange-pinapple juice. So I presented a second time on Saturday, this time at SCCUR (Southern California Conference on Undergranduate Research). It was huge, and I got my own cute little name tag thingy. And my abstract was in this book for the conference. Super cool. I really liked presenting my research, I can't wait to do more. We're have to repeat the experiment ( Read more... )
