This isn't the Chick-fil-A post you think it is....

So with all the hubbub about a certain fast food chicken chain I got to thinking.  Why do I get sick when I eat there?  It's the same symptoms I have when I eat garlic and onions, but I always avoid the items which obviously have garlic and onions in them.  SO I checked their website and they list ingredients there ( Read more... )

I think everything there is pretty much awful and I end up feeling awful afterwards too. :/

Lots of fast food is like that for me and I thought the "simpler" menu here might be better. Not so.

Burger King and Taco Bell are the worst for me. Shockingly, I can do McDonalds as long as I don't eat anything with beef.

And I don't even have any allergies or known sensitivities. My body just can't take all the empty fried calories with preservatives and HFCS.

The only item I can eat at Taco Bell is the Choco-Taco. And I found out I can get them at the grocery store. :-)

I can't eat most of McD's food. They use onion powder on a lot of their items. :-P

I'm also sensitive to large volumes of oil. So as much as I love tater tots (and fries and pretty much anything made from potato that's fried) I have to be very careful eating them. Luckily Sonic's small has like 6 of them, which is alright. I could really go for some tater tots right now.... :-)
