Jesus God yes. Can I add one I'm getting really tired of? Never tell a woman with no children or one child or any combination that she "never knows" what might happen. Some of us do know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, and would rather not discuss it with a stranger in an eyeglass store or wherever. That knowledge may be happy, it may be painful, it may be a little melancholy, but it is also none of your @#$% business.

People treat this like it's just small talk. But I have to wonder...do these strangers REALLY want to know? And I'm half tempted to tell them. It would probably give them nightmares by the time I'm done.

I did once, just once, say, "Actually, I don't have a uterus anymore," just for the sheer satisfaction. It was fleeting.
