I don't normally do these re-blog things but this is not only interesting it's important to people who still use LJ. Yea, the DDoS's are frustrating. But there's a bigger picture here.

Holy crap! A tornado outbreak!
For those checking in on me the stormline starts about 1 hour's drive to the North. We've got sunny sky here. So far 7 tornados have been confirmed for the Dallas area from this storm with more being reported as time goes by. If you're in the area I hope you're somewhere safe. I've received A LOT of copies of the Kony 2012 video [not going to bother linking it as it's everywhere]. I've also received a lot of posts criticizing it. And a lot of them defending it. What I haven't received a whole lot of is insightful commentary from someone who lived it. Until now.

If you're this focused on what is and isn't "the perfect date" you're going to miss out on how incredibly awesome a "regular" date can be. So I'll say a perfect date is one where the people involved want to go out together again.
