Late nite winter wildlife update

Suburban Critter Count:

• 2 raccoons
• 1 possum
• 4 leaves that really looked like mice

We've been going out to holiday parties & such, & coming home later in the evening than normal. That's my best guess as to why in this last week, I've seen more large, non-cat, mammalian wildlife wandering around inside my housing complex than I've seen in the last six

Hehe! Mouse leaves!

I totally know what you mean about the raccoons. They are such ornery things! Once at my parents' old house a big huge raccoon came into the yard and decided to help himself to the cat food (which we kept in a bucket thing out back). It was pretty hilarious because he was just scooping it up in one hand and eating it like popcorn whilst staring through the sliding glass doors into the kitchen -- like he was watching the Human Show or something. :P
