I find it frustratingly ironic that doctors aren't allowed to help people who have terminal illnesses and are in extreme amounts of pain and want to die peacefully so they don't have to suffer end their own lives in most of the US, but the execution of a convicted murderer/rapist is postponed because it can't be done without causing some discomfort
