Beautiful downtown
Yesterday morning I discovered much to my dismay that my car wasn't working. It wouldn't even turn over. I was unfortunately about a third of the way down the driveway before I discovered that it wasn't even going to roll start. I asked my roommate if she would help me try to push it backward up the driveway and she graciously agreed to help me. ( Read more... ) -

Holy high river, Batman!
So, it's been a wee bit wet lately. As in flooding in low areas. Back in '96 the Willamette river flooded and OMSI sustained a fair amount of damage and was closed for a a while. It was also a huge economic blow to the museum... We've been keeping an eye on the river recently with all the rain ( Read more... ) -

I don't really know what the point of this is other than LJ is a lot faster than spaces. Yesterday it was taking 42 seconds just to reload a page. That may not seem like a long time but when you're waiting for that page to load, it seems an eternity ( Read more... )
