Doggies, Kitties and Rodents

a) Is the kennel bound dog the road trip puppy or did it morph into the kitty cat? I’m more of a dog person myself.

b) Never heard of a German rat, but I visualize one of those large black rodents about the size of a possum. This is giving me the willies as I write. Regardless of ethnic group, I have serious rat phobia. If you happen to catch sight of these folks, tell them to stay on their side of the river and make nice with the kitties.
