ok I know most of the people who read this dont care about sports but it;s my blog so there you go. The selection sunday show had a few surprises, like that gonzaga got screwed again. But the cool news is that the big ten has 6 teams in, though michigan isnt one, 6 out of eleven is pretty good. The super conference is the big east with 8 teams ( Read more... )

I guess my old school, UMD, didn't make it. I wonder how many games they would have needed to win in the ACC tourney to have gotten a bid. They were, according to the ratings, a top 50 teams. Would one more win have been enough, do you think? (Note: there is little to suggest they would have gone far in the big show.)

And did they boot Gonzaga? Talk about a team with a history of NCAA upset wins.

well gonzaga never gets the sead they deserve becuase the NCAA doesnt like that they dont play hard schedules.

they are a three seed, which is not really much worse than a 2 seed. That's not shabby.
