they do less censoring generally in england that is one of the things I miss there, the way that they broadcast their news

the bbc radio feed has lots of people calling in and texting from all over the world which they just read or put ont he radio no matter what they are saying, that is why I like it. I understand your point Joe and I was considering that int he case of bin laden we naturlaly did not bend to his will just because of bombs. I think the major difference here is that the lebanese were making some tiny progress in disarming Hezbolla and mostly just by asking them to cut it out. The Labanese government is very very weak, the army is still split along sectarian lines and therefore they cannot coerce the terrorists into disarming because the army would break apart. I heard a number of lebanese interviewed today and most of them said they wanted peace and to get rid of hezbollah. However all the people said they wanted no civilians to be harmed on both sides, but I didnt hear a one of them say "do you see the hell Hezbollah has brought upon us ( ... )

I don't even know if that's the right question to be asking the Lebanese. What do they say when asked, "what do you think of the Israel/Palestine conflict?"

that is a good question. This post may be pretty out of date ina few hours or so, things are getting a lot worse with Iran sending tropps. This really couild be it, the end of the midddle east as we know it and possibly the first in what may be many wars with islam ona grand scale. THe US is ina terrible spot right here between all this. Time to run for cover.
