It's the coolest thing ever, as are most all Apple products. It's not an invention. The iPod wasn't the first portable MP3 player, but there's a reason why nobody's buying the competition. It's cool, compact, compatible, & easy to use with iTunes.

Does your phone have the iPhone's large screen?
Does your phone have the cool voice mail management?
Does your phone have a touch screen?

I saw the Iphone before I wrote this. My phone does have a large screen, My phone has great voicemail that allows me to see my messages and pick which one to listen to, and I dont wanta touch screen because it will get all groty from me touching it all the time.

Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

I hadn't considered that perhaps Cingular teamed up with Apple not because they need help in the product development department, but because they have no clue how to advertise.

cingular and apple have had a relationship for a while, the first phone with Itunes was a cingular phone. The reason apple wanted to team up was becuase they didnt have a service aparatus set up yet. It is likely that apple will eventually offer its own service that may piggy back on some other networks like Helio runs on the sprint 3g network.
