I am a radio star

I was on the weekly news roundup with Diane Rehm today. I was calling about the primary race, and at the time was in capitol heights so I was Mike from Capitol Heights.

I was in hour one, about 40 minutes in give or take.

Was your comment, basically, not to worry about Florida & Michigan -- that the Dems won't decide that issue until Obama already has the nomination sewed up? I certainly hope it can work out that way. More to the point, if the Clinton camp pushes to hard on that, I think the party elders will weigh in big time, because it would wreck the party. Not so much because it will sour the black vote as because it will sour the youth vote ( ... )

yeah that was about what I was saying. I think obama has it at this point and the party is trying to figure out a graceful way out of this. I would still not rule out a super ticket, witha firm policy advisor of a VP in hilarry, or maybe sec state for her. Policy wise they differ very little and I think if she activly campaigns for him people will realize they are voting as much for the platform as they are for the person. In that case, hillary's supporters will be more easily brought into the fold again. Black america will never forgive the democratic party if they dont let obama run, and that would spell a republican victory

it is strange to think of the mainstream media as right wing. I still dont feel like all of it is but fox has changed the game. 9/11 changed the game too, but once we see a good policy comming from the whitehouse it wont be so bad. I dont know if the media has gone right so much as just wishy washy, not pushing hard enough on officials to get the story. That is why we all got caught with our pants down about iraq and walter reed and all those other events.
