Good things:
1. 40.11 MPG on the way to Dallas and back.
2. Some of the tomato plants are higher than the 6' fence now! (ok ok, they have a 2 1/2 ft help from the beds I built)
3. Got to see Topol in person, in his farewell tour of Fiddler on the Roof!!!!! (p.s., !!!) Let me say, he's amazing in the role, even more ( Read more... ) -
Fennel Predator! :(
Found 6 or so little caterpillars on my fennel today. The fennel doesn't seem too much the worse for wear, but one of the dang things was eating the Dill, which DOES seem worse for wear :(
I picked them off, though it's a bit hard to do so, knowing that they turn into these:
