Arrrgh, ramblings

So some of you may remember I had to reformat my hard drive.  And with it I lost about 6 months worth of Twilight pics, fonts, brushes, and thousands of textures.  And yes, I was stupid enough not to waste the extra 5 G to back it all up because I was stupid--I only saved my work, manuscripts, movies, and personal pics ( Read more... )

I would love a round with fanarts!

And yes, I'm watching the Olympics... Or at least a very small part of it, considering the games start when I'm going to bed...

fanarts are one of my favorite things to do--I may dedicate the whole next challenge to fanart. I just think it's so original and it provides a great source for material.

Yeah, the Games are on here late. I watched the swimming and gymnastics, but I'm done pretty much now on. Maybe some diving if I catch it. What have you caught?

That sucks about your hard drive! Boooo! I've been lazy lately with icon-making, too (you could probably tell seeing as how I skipped the last round at Twiconathon :\). Hopefully, I'll get inspiration to make some soon.

I've been watching the Olympics! I LOVE IT. I can't believe it'll all be over soon :(

How'd you like the second week? I didn't watch too much of it because I'm more a gymnastic and swimming fan than a trackie, but I liked the diving.

I thought the closing ceremonies were a bit lackluster compared to the opening though.

I'm not much of an athletics fan, either, but I do watch the 100m, 200m and relays. I got into it a lot more this time around because of Usain Bolt (the 100m and 200m winner). I'm definitely more of a swimming and gymnastics fan, too, but I usually spend the second watching the diving and basketball (which is what's great about basketball - it goes for all 16 days!).

I didn't watch the entire closing ceremony. It was around midnight here before I gave up. Haha. I thought it was okay, but felt like it dragged on a little. Especially the "London" part. I don't get why they have to do that; it's not like we won't see what the next Olympics' opening ceremony is going to be like, you know?

Still! It was a fun two weeks .
