Culinary Tidbits, Campfire Edition-- Pie Iron Cooking

Jun 27, 2006 13:27

I have not done this in a very long time so I thought that since I have been doing a lot of camping and hiking and whatnot, I would do a campfire version of Culinary Tidbits... Since this is probably the most actual cooking I tend to do these days, there may possibly be more campfire cooking segments posted here in the future ( Read more... )

Yum, we have a pie iron with us (we hope we brought it anyway)

Also we have some great hot dog sticks made from old golf shafts, they telescope. Got them at a rally a long time ago.

I love the chocolate and marshmallow one.

We have not use the pie iron sense we camped out I don't think.

Pie irons come in handy if you are going to be having a campfire anyway. Not too much clean up involved and there are so many different things you can make in it for all meals of the day and dessert.

Hot dog sticks are handy as well. :-)
