everything's changing...

people are graduating and i'm not...i know that still having two classes left might not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but when your friends (and most of whom you've known since 1st grade) are graduating i feel left behind. i know you think, it's only until august and you'll be there too. but it's different. for so long we finished ( Read more... )

:-( I know exactly how you feel. I have two classes to take over summer, too, and all of my friends are leaving to do new and interesting things. I'm staying behind, here. I feel like I've been left behind...again. Most of my friends were ahead of me in high school, so I would watch them graduate and go on a lot. Luckily, I went to the same college as the best of those friends, but now they're leaving too. And all of my friends that I made here. This year was so good; I finally felt like I fit in somewhere, I loved my apartment, I loved my roommate, I loved my friends--and now that's all leaving me behind. I just got notice that I have to be out of my apartment in 10 days (they're turning them all into condos and I can't take the construction noise), and my best friend and roommate are leaving for a job in Puerto Rico in 6 days. I suddenly have to pack up and move again within Athens, to a place and a people that I don't know while being left behind. I'm not getting out of GA. I've always wanted to get out of GA. I know how you feel...except that I still have a year and a half. But people do change and have their life events, and we support and grow, but we move on to, knowing theres great things ahead.

We should get dinner soon
