Well, up until recently, there was a message sent to our communication devices every morning at 6 am to wake us up. They were sent by one who called themselves the "System Manager". Lately, though, there have been none at all.

Hello, Kyoko. The "Mr." is unnecessary, just Rand is fine.

Yes, well. If he is dead then now we really have no connection to the outside world. At least with his messages a few of us knew that our outside worlds at least still existed.

As I stated to her, the System Manager sent messages to our communication devices every morning at 6 am. They usually spoke of the weather and some "gossip" about the happenings within this wretched house, but he would also sometimes mention news of the goings-on in the worlds of some of our residents.

Hopefully we will find a way out soon. As the one who has been here, I believe, the longest of any other... "resident", one can truly be driven crazy in here.

May I call you Gin? Just Rand is fine for me.

A drink sounds pleasant about now. Unfortunately I am not entirely certain where anything in the house is anymore. After some of the... incidents, I ventured out of my room as little as possible. You will have to show me the way, if you don't mind.
