I think that if you were faced with the possibility of d-dying now, you'd be having a hard time "pulling yourself together", too...

Ah... When I say "Light", it means, ah... I think a phrase more people are familiar with is "oh god" or something of the sort. It's like saying that.

Is there, ah.. "magic" in your world? There is something like it in mine, powered by what we call the Source... if you can tap into the Source, you start becoming dependent on it, and -- getting cut off from it, it's called stilling in women and gentling in men... But either way, after you've channeled -- used the Source -- if you get cut off from it, you die. It takes time but you die after a few months, maybe a year if you're lucky... But you die in the end.

So I think I have plenty enough reason to be a bit worried now, I think.
