Biweekly Drabble-Drawble fest
Hello all!
Here is an idea I'd like to try out, if any of you are interested in participating. I was thinking of doing a monthly or biweekly drabble-drawble fest, similar to what I've seen in some other comms. How it works is this:
1) Pick a prompt from under the list
2) Set a timer for ten minutes
3) Write or draw for ten minutes
4) Post your story or art in the comments!
- If you end up going over ten minutes, that's cool! Post it anyway! The time limit is just a way to get the creative juices flowing. If you end up writing some magnum opus, feel free to post it on its own!
- You can fill more than one prompt, and each prompt can be filled multiple times!
- You can write or draw anything to do with Chekov/Sulu, or Chekov or Sulu on their own.
- Other pairings can feature as long as the focus is Chekov/Sulu! So you can have Kirk/McCoy in the background, or for instance you can have past Scotty/Chekov, as long as the focus is on our boys together.
- Any universe or AU is allowed! As long as the characters are still recognizably Sulu and Chekov!
- Please use any applicable warnings or labels in the header of your comment, and generally just follow the rules of the comm. :-) State which prompt # you're filling in the header too!
- You can keep writing and drawing fills until the next drabblefest post goes up, if you so choose!
- Enjoy everyone else's work too!
If you guys like this, maybe I will put up a planning post for the next challenges, and get some thoughts on how to run this. Maybe we can have themed prompts and different time challenges, etc. Lemme know what you think!
