Dear Chelsea,
I'm happy you have realized the absolute core of Leeds, Alabama. There are some people in this tiny town who are just worthless to the earth. Some people are just ignorant, and you have to just let them do their thing and well you keep on doing your's. You are a sweet girl and don't let anyone tell you different. John Carroll will be the best thing for you, believe me, I know this from first hand experience. Just getting away from all the madness and chaos that comes from living in a small town, is good for the soul. But enough of trying to be "wise". I love you, and I'm happy you and Brittany have started talking again. Friendships are the only thing you take from highschool, nothing else. I hope that one day me and you can become the way we used to be in middle school. I miss those crazy days! Well, that's all for now. I love you Chelsea Lauren Josephine!

Aww! I love you too Amanda Leigh! I miss hanging out! We were SO tight in Middle School! I will never forget you! We had sooo many great times! WAY too many to even name! I almost started to cry reading that comment!! I will always be around and will will DEF hang out! Love you Always-Chelsea

You know it is not the point of just handing out a piece of paper. This is the begining of his life. This ia a major stepping stone. Some day when you graduate you will see how exciting it is to be with all your friends that you went to school with for years and hear you name being called to get your diploma. 12 years of school for that big day is exciting, watch you will see. Don't be so negative about it. Another thing, he is probably so proud and excited so don't ruin it for him.

Wow..Im happy that you care and all, but yeah it kinna just is a peice of paper, and really you shouldnt need that just to say hey I graduated, you should already know and be proud of yourself and obviously you dont know how excited I am for him and how proud I am of him for all of the things he has done in his 17 years of school, in both athletics and academics so therefore im not ruining anything for him...he knows how proud I am and my family is of him, he doesnt need a paper and his name called out to be shown either.

Just a piece of paper, LMAO Okay granted it is a piece of paper but it is excitine having you name called out and get your diploma and to be with all your friends that you have been with for years, it is a big thing. You shouldn't look at the way you are. I am not trying to fight with you and I am not saying you don't care and shit. I am just saying to you it is just a piece of paper but maybe to him it is much more then that. Someday you may think differently too. What about when you have kids sometime down the road, will you say the same thing. Easy to say yeah now but just wait you may eat those words. I am sorry if I said you were ruining things for him but that is not how I meant it. Getting "piece of paper" his diploma and having his name called out is part of graduating high school in just about every state. It is a celebration with friends and family. It is exciting when it happens, trust me you will see one day!! You may not and you are entitled to your opinion as I am but I just think you will feel differently

Yeah theres also a big difference in High School and College, High School was a very big deal because we knew everyone and everyone was friends and very close college wasnt as big of a deal because out of 400 people i knew ONE, and my brother felt the exact same way.
