This is not the last chapter, however, there will most likely be only one more chapter. Assuming I have no more random brain bursts, as has often happened with me while writing this fic, chapter 21 should be the last.

Is this the final chapter? Or will there be more? You know, I was half expecting James to walk in on them, or something. I think I'm glad he didn't, though. ;)

There should be, provided I don't have anymore unexpected brain bursts, just one more chapter left to this fic. (And then I have vague plans for a sequel, but there are still quite a few kinks left in that plot. Eep.)

I actually had a fleeting urge to have James walk in on them, but I decided that absolutely no one could top the scene from Slackened Ties and I didn't even want to try. Maybe one day I will attempt it, but for now, I am content to protect James's poor virgin eyes =P

Yes you do! I'm sad that I haven't seen an update from you lately. RKoW is too good to leave unfinished ;D

It's funny - a lot of authors I discovered in the HP fandom that used to be hardcore into the fandom have since left, or are one step away from doing so. But HP was my first fandom and has basically been my one and only ever since, with very infrequent visits into other fandoms. (It's even funnier because I don't even really like the HP books all that much anymore, given that I haven't felt the need to reread them in about two years now. The trio just bore me now - I'm all about the MWPP era.) I kind of envy you all for being able to get into a lot of different fandoms. I guess my number one reason for not being able to do it is that I'm already so limited on fanfic writing time - if I started writing fic for too many more fandoms, I'd never get anything done X[

Slackened Ties is most certainly a fic! It's really great too, and based off a delicious piece by ponderosa121 (I can only find this link for it right now: ... )
