Fear not! Chapter 15 is well underway and I haven't hit any real snags yet (just RL getting in the way, but that is to be expected), so another update should not be long in coming!

As mean as it is to Landon, I was really hoping for reactions like yours to the whole Landon/Remus/Sirius triangle. I wanted people to feel like Remus is feeling - Landon is a great guy and all, but he's just not Sirius.

Haha, don't worry - the 50 review mark has been reached! Chapter 15 is also FINISHED!!! I just need to proofread it, and then it shall be going up. FASTED UPDATE EVER OMG. I'm very shocked at myself right now.

Oh, poor Landon. You're harder-hearted than most of the rest of us. When most of us write alternate boyfriends for Remus, we make them imperfect enough that everyone is happy to see Remus break up with them. But you had to create a boyfriend we actually like.

I know! Oh, it was so hard to do, trust me. But generally in fics where Remus has an OC boyfriend, Remus is already aware of the depth of his feelings for Sirius, so it's okay that said boyfriend has those flaws and imperfections - they're meerly stand-ins. In my fic, I needed to make Landon a bit above average so that Remus would be forced to finally acknowledge that Sirius is his one and only (ahaha I feel weird using that phrase). It's just my own personal twist on the tale =P
