just keep ringing telstra back - if you can't understand the one you speak to hang up & start again lol
I had to ring them every day for 10 days - each time they told me it was something different with the modem, until finally the only aussie sounding bloke i spoke to figured out the modem was dead & we needed a new one. It works real good again :D
