The Viking and I have been hacked....
no idea what all they have taken.

They hacked out Warcraft accounts too.... and I was guild banker. I feel sick.

Oh honey! I'm so sorry! Make sure you check your various accounts, including bank, any credit cards and so on! You never know... I hope it's just your games and nothing else!

We've checked things and it doesn't appear anything was taken. Just the Viking's email hacked. And our WoW accounts hacked and robbed.
But we are working on checking and changing EVERYTHING!!!

First and MOST IMPORTANT, find the keylogger on your computer and get rid of it.

Once you have gotten the keylogger off, do the steps here.

It's awful and miserable, but chances are very good that if you do all this right away, they'll be able to restore all your stuff. The sooner, the better.

We are looking into it and the Viking is out right now looking for more software to prevent this from happening again.

Easy prevention steps:

1st: Switch your internet browser to Firefox 3 with the NoScript addon.
2nd: A reliable antivirus software; AVG is decent and free.
3rd: Lavasoft AdAware.
4th: Spybot Search & Destroy.

Those four things ought to keep things nicely under control.

Our bank accounts appear to be fine. But we are making sure things are changed around so hopefully we don't have to deal with this again.

Can you get a hold of Blizzard and tell them what happened? I'm sure they have records of what the guild had in the bank before the hack. They're pretty good about fixing things when something goes wrong.
