Where oh where do I start?? For starters, Jaime doesn't live here anymore. I seem to have "misplaced" several things since she's moved in such as my wedding ring, a $50 gift card for Sears, and strangely enough something I bought from Ebay that was delivered to my door that I never received. Today I found the receipt from my Ebay purchase hidden ( Read more... )

Wow, that's crazy that she stole stuff from you. Your wedding ring?? OMG, I'd be furious! Was the thing you bought from ebay very expensive? I know it's not the money that matters, though. I can't believe she would do that after you were nice enough to take her into your home. Did you (or are you going to) confront her?

I totally understand you being so happy with your new "house stuff". I'm always excited when we get something new like that. We need a new bed soooo bad!

I did confront her today and she denied it all. I figured she would. I would love more than anything for her to tell me what she did with my stuff. Yeah, I had a wedding ring set that is sooo beautiful and a few weeks before the wedding I looked in my jewelry box and it was gone. So all I have now is my engagement ring (that goes with the set) and a $20 plain band. I wasn't about to get Justin to buy me another of the same thing for $250. The thing I bought from Ebay was Proactiv facial cleanser and it was $52.50. I'm not sure why the hell she would want it, but I think that by finding the delivery receipt in her closet pretty much proves that she did it. Don't you think? And the Sears gift card was for $50. So the grand total we were ripped off was $350. AND she has been staying here with her 2 children for FREE! She doesn't buy groceries or anything. But I think the worst part of it is that I lost my best friend. Its just sad that she ruined our years and years of friendship with this bullshit. Justin thinks she's on ( ... )

What gratitude! That's really shitty. Yeah, I think the receipt in the closet makes it pretty obvious that she stole it. If she was trying to hide it, why didn't she just rip it up really tiny and throw it away? And I can't believe she stole the band of your wedding set - something so personal and sentimental. At least you hadn't been married for lots of years when she stole it. I think it would be harder to lose it after having time to become attached to it. Still, really horrible though. Knowing nothing about this girl or the way she acts, it definitely does sound like it could be some kind of drug problem. I don't know who in their right mind would steal from someone who'd given them so much.
