Heh, looks like Nate beat me to the first comment; I would have been first if my internet didn't die, though... So in the hope that I don't sound trite, good luck! You'll be fine as long as you don't eat beans and pizza for breakfast.

I don't think the grail can be pointless; perhaps you're thinking the quest is? Yet you said it best yourself when you mentioned a time frame; you are only 17. If you're unhappy with the grail, reshape it. Stick it back in the fire, melt it a little, and pound it out to a higher form of perfection. But do all that metaphorically.
