OK, so I've had temporary custody of my niece since Tuesday last week. The CPS worker said it would be a week, two tops. So I called her on Monday to verify that and she said she'd be finished with the case by Friday. So Tuesday she tells my sister that Veronica is with me "until further notice". FINALLY!! (not counting the elevator at CFTC) I took my niece with me. I think she was more excited than I was. She's three and she kept trying to get him to see her shirt. When he noticed it through the glass at the radio station (she was making faces at him) he called her "cutie patootie" and she got so excited she tried to get out of my arms ( Read more... )
