For the past two day at my other job, I've been working my ass off. This morning I literally swabbed the deck of our boat for school. I demolded the whole upper deck and mopped the floor.These past two days have been great as far as work goes but I realized that my back is struggling to stay afloat. You may try taking pilates too. Great for the back and entire core.

I am going to. I got a yoga/pilates duo dvd. I'm looking forward to getting it and starting to tone and strengthen again. :)

there is a new studio in falmouth called yogave... it's a pay what you can/donation system... if the class you are trying isn't to your liking , maybe we could check yogave out , i keep meaning to go, but would rather have company.
that said , really take care of your back, try some pilates core strengthening moves... planks are great... so are push ups...plus those make your arms lok sex-ay too ;)

ummm.... i'd like to try to check it out sometime next week, i'll check on what time they have classes & we csn plan from there.

I started doing yoga about 2 months ago now, and I am currently in a class that is designed to deal with back pain. you should check out if there are any that specifically deal with back pain, it really makes a huge difference. My back is better than it has been in years.

Awesome!!! I think at this point any yoga and pilates for my core will be great for my lower back. I am looking forward to building my core and toning up again. I need it for future marine endeavors.
