why do people choose their friends based on their appearance? it makes no sense what so ever...just to limit who you hang out with cause they don't dress or look like you

i think it's more or less cause they are afraid to look "bad" in front of ther clique...they don't want to look un-cool or something...it's stupid of them...but yet, i pitty them...sad fuckers...

i agree. its sad how we think that we will be percieved as uncool by hanging out with someone who we think is not attractive. also society and the media haven't helped on how we think whats pretty and whats unattractive. that only pretty people hang out and unattractive people should be with "their kind"

I think fear has a lot to do with preference over who and who not to befriend. An example? Say you are in your school's cafeteria when you look over and see a group of african american males eating lunch, speaking their lingo, wearing their clothes, and all that. Boyz from da hood, word my schizzle. Do they look approachable to you? Would you, or would you not be afraid of them because they look tough, violent, armed? Go for it, man
