Scared or confused?

One of my guy-friends told me yesterday that he's starting to shop around for the ring. I am very happy for him but I am at a point in my life where I have no idea what I want or who will be willing to put up with my crap for the next 70 or so (hopefully healthy) years

1) I think he's pretty set on it. I am saying biting the dust only because according to most married men, no matter how willingly you do it, you'll still be miserable (BTW I disagree with that one as well).

2) It's pretty much between me and another guy, and most likely it'll be me. I am pretty good at planning things so I am not worried about that, just that I'll need some mula to make his bachelor's party memorable (and NO, not what you're thinking!).

3) You need to start pimping out and contribute to this topic. ;o)

2) I think it should be an away weekend of fun and questionable women. Or not! No women. Do male bonding stuff in the mountains or something. Lug heavy things to the top, and then eat and drink them there. Rough it for a couple of days. Nothing says *man* like forest and fishing.

Or kidnap the groom, and drop him and another friend (who knows what's going on) without cell phones or money or credit cards in the middle of rural Jersey. With one clue where to go. And feed him another clue when he get there. And then another. And when he is exhausted and hating you, he will open door to a pool of liquor and questionable women.

I just vote for something exciting and non-standard.

3) I can elaborate further on this topic when we finally meet somewhere. Until then... if you are best man, don't you have to escort the maid of honor? or one of the bridesmaids? I have never gotten married, so I don't know these rules.
