Mine does that too. I think it is a flaw in the design ad there for inevitable.

1. Measure the size of the drain
2. Go to Brooks or a hardware store and but a little plastic strainer thing to fit into the drain opening.
3. When the sink does get clogged, take a metal hanger and unwrap it from it's hanger shape so you can use it to snake the drain.
4. Alternate this with using a plunger to suction out whatever is in there
5. The fabric softener goes during the middle of the wash cycle

I tried the hanger thing over the weekend, actually, but I had a really hard time getting it to go straight.. any tips? besides "grow muscles"? the plunger is a good idea, maybe I need to invest in a smaller one.

& thanks for the laundry advice, is that new knowledge you've picked up since the last time we did laundry together? you'd be proud of me, my skills have exponentially increased since then. although I DID TWELVE LOADS LAST NIGHT. no one should own enough clothing to fill twelve loads, I've decided.
